REDESAIN TPA NGADIROJO KABUPATEN WONOGIRI MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM SANITARY LANDFILL

Abstract

ABSTRACT As like another town in Indonesia, Wonogiri also use landfill as a burrying place of solid waste/ rubbish. The landfill that serviced Wonogiri is placed in Desa Kerjo Lor Kecamatan Ngadirojo Kabupaten Wonogiri with it area wide is 8,2 hectare has been operated since 1992 with the open dumping method. Until now, Ngadirojo landfill leachate management does not have a safe for the environment, control of methane gas, and other bad effects polluting the environment. It is not in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 18 Year 2008 on Waste Management which explained that the landfill must be processed and return the waste to the environment is safe for humans and the environment. To reduce the harm to the environment, then the Ngadirojo landfill is designed again use the concept of sanitary landfill. The result of this study is a new sanitary landfill final disposal design with leachate collection system, gas venting device, and other supporting facilities including truck scales and also additional heavy equipment requirement. The expense budget to redesign the Ngadirojo sanitary landfill is Rp 10.714.747.889,57. Keywords : design, sanitary landfill, Ngadirojo landfill, Wonogiri.
