Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pendekatan teoretikal baru dalam menyelesaikan perbedaan hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh pengambilan risiko berinovasi terhadap kinerja organisasi, hubungan pengambilan risiko dengan lingkungan serta untuk menelusuri dan menganalisis proses pengembangan pengambilan risiko berinovasi dan orientasi keunggulan teknik kreatif yang spesifik. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten dan Kota Pekalongan, Kabupaten Rembang, Kabupaten Sragen, dan Kota Solo berdasarkan klaster unggulan batik pada tahap mature (dewasa) di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Pengujian model penelitian empirik menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan beberapa software yaitu AMOS 7,0, SPSS 16,0 dan Microsoft Excel ver. 2007. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 254 pemilik/pimpinan/manajer Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptabilitas lingkungan pemasaran berpengaruh positif terhadap hubungan pemasaran, pengetahuan strategi pemasaran berpengaruh positif terhadap komunikasi pemasaran, ketrampilan kerja karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan. Hubungan pemasaran, komunikasi pemasaran, dan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif terhadap pengambilan risiko berinovasi dan selanjutnya pengambilan risiko berinovasi berpengaruh positif terhadap keragaman produk. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran eksploratif berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan pengembangan produk baru, pembelajaran transformatif berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan diferensiasi produk, pembelajaran eksploitatif berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan proses kreatif berorientasi biaya. Selanjutnya keunggulan pengembangan produk baru, keunggulan diferensiasi produk, dan keunggulan proses kreatif berorientasi biaya berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja organisasi. Keterbatasan dan implikasi untuk penelitian yang akan datang dan implikasi manajerial juga dibahas dalam penelitian ini. This research aims to develop a new theoretical approach in solving the difference of research result between the effects of risk taking innovation influence towards organizational performance, the relationship between risk taking with the environment to learn and analyze the development process of risk taking innovation and orientation on the advantage of specific creative technique. The research was conducted in the district and municipality of Pekalongan, the district of Rembang, the district of Sragen, and the municipality of Solo. It was based on the cluster of the batik rank at the level of mature in Central Java Province. The empirical test model used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by using some software, such as: AMOS 7.0, SPSS 16.0 and Microsoft Excel ver. 2007. The sample size of the study was 254 owners/ leaders/ managers of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. The result showed that adaptibility to marketing environment affect positively towards marketing relationship, knowledge of marketing strategy affects positively towards marketing communication, employees working skill affects positively towards trust. Relationship of marketing, marketing communication, and trust influence positively towards risk taking innovation and later risk taking innovation influences positively towards the diversity of the product. The result of the study also showed that explorative learning affects positively towards advantage of new product development, transformative learning affects positively towards advantage of product differentiation, exploitative learning affects positively, advantage of the creative process-oriented cost. Afterwards, towards advantage of new product development, advantage of product differentiation, advantage of the creative process-oriented cost affect positively towards organizational performance. The limitation and implication for the future study and the managerial implication are also discussed in this study.
