Abstract
Abstract Air exist in around human being contain many pollutant from various source, especially from motor vehicle emission in the Workshop every day. Enclosed workshop spaces in the polluted fumes of motor vehicles, which is bad for the health of mechanic. Under these conditions need some risk analysis, There are four steps in risk analysis research. There are hazard identifications, exposure assessment, toxicity assessment, and risk characterization. This study aims to determine the concentration of air pollution, analyze the mechanic risk of contamination due to the impact of air pollution in a closed Workshop Wali Motor Demak. From the measurement results of air pollution in Workshop Wali Motor Demak, the value of air pollution concentration in the air indoor based on Circular Minister of Health. RI No. 261 Tahun 1998 still below the standard. From this equation that the risk would increase if the number of vehicles and the concentration of pollution in the air increased. Average Hazard index total in Workshop is 0.5274 and Risk is 0.0426 so it is still under maximum standard risk, that is 1. Keywords: Pollution in Air, Mechanic Officer, Workshop Wali Motor Demak
