Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to identify the causes of environmental degradation in the Center of Smoked Fish can be formulated so that appropriate management systems that could be implemented in accordance with the socio-economic conditions of the people in Wonosari. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observations and review of the literature and secondary data collection. SWOT analysis is used to formulate strategic plans in the management of the Center Smoked Fish in Wonosari Bonang Demak. Environmental degradation in the Center of Smoked Fish in Wonosari Bonang Demak due to (a) non-functioning infrastructure (b) The function of the environment that are not feasible and (c) Socio-Cultural Community. Existing infrastructure malfunction causing the waste generated from the smokehouse can not be safely managed so as to meet the criteria for disposal. Low educational level and living habits in an unhealthy environment also makes people unhealthy behavior. Formulation of policy priority targets is done by combining the components in the SWOT analysis to obtain the 6 alternative policy strategies that can be implemented with the first priority is Revitalization.
