STUDI KOMPARATIF KECEPATAN TEMU KEMBALI INFORMASI DI DEPO ARSIP KORAN SUARA MERDEKA ANTARA SISTEM SIMPAN MANUAL DENGAN FOTO REPRO

Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul "Studi Komparatif Kecepatan Temu Kembali Informasi di Depo Arsip Koran Suara Merdeka antara Sistem Simpan Manual dengan Foto Repro". Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kecepatan temu kembali informasi di Depo Arsip Koran Suara Merdeka antara sistem manual dengan foto repro. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif pendekatan studi komparatif, penulis melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap mahasiswa dan informan umum yang sudah bekerja yang dipilih sebagai informan berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil wawancara kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari proses reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/Verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitan ini yaitu bahwa mahasiswa dan informan umum memiliki pendapat yang berbeda terhadap kecepatan temu kembali informasi di Depo Arsip Suara Merdeka. Mahasiswa lebih menyukai melakukan penelusuran informasi di Depo Arsip Suara Merdeka secara manual karena menurut mereka penelusuran secara manual dirasa lebih cepat dan memiliki banyak manfaat seperti mereka dapat merasa seakan-akan kembali ke zamannya, lebih santai, lebih cepat, lebih mudah dalam melakukan proses penelusuran informasi, dan dirasa lebih sehat untuk mata karena mengurangi intensitas mata untuk berhadapan secara langsung dengan radiasi sinar komputer.The title of this thesis is "Comparative Study of Speed Information Retrieval in Depo Arsip Koran Suara Merdeka with Manual System and Photo Repro". The research was conducted in order to determine how the speed of information retrieval in Depo Arsip Koran Suara Merdeka with manual systems and photo repro. Using qualitative methods with descriptive research approach to comparative studies, the authors make observations and depth interviews with students and general informants who had worked as an informant selected by purposive sampling technique. Results of the interviews was analyzed using interactive analysis model which consists of the reduction process, data presentation and conclusion / verification. Results from this research is that students and general informants have different opinions with a outcome to the speed of information retrieval on Depo Arsip Suara Merdeka. Students prefer to surf the information on Depo Archives Suara Merdeka manually search for them manually according feels faster and has many benefits as they can feel like going back to his time, more relaxed, more quickly, more easily in the process of information retrieval , and felt much healthier for the eyes as it reduces the intensity of the eyes to deal directly with the computer radiation.
