Abstract

Abstrak Rochmah Tri Cahyani. 21080111400048. Kajian Penggunaan Cantrang Terhadap Kelestarian Sumberdaya Ikan Demersal (Analisis Hasil Tangkapan Dominan yang Didaratkan di TPI Wedung Demak). Sutrisno Anggoro dan Bambang Yulianto. Produksi perikanan demersal cantrang di Demak memberikan kontribusi sebesar 50,15 % dari total produksi demersal. Produksi perikanan cantrang mulai tahun 2008 hingga tahun 2012 tidak stabil bahkan cenderung menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji informasi mengenai cantrang dan hasil tangkapannya serta tingkat pemanfaatan ikan demersal dasil tangkapan cantrang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2013 menggunakan metode survei melalui observasi hasil tangkapan dan wawancara terhadap nelayan cantrang yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Analisis data meliputi komposisi jenis, panjang berat, aspek reproduksi (Tingkat Kematangan Gonad, fekunditas dan nisbah kelamin) ikan. Tingkat pemanfaatan perikanan demersal cantrang dihitung menggunakan metode Schaeffer. Cantrang rata-rata berukuran mata jaring 1,5 inchi dan kapal berukuran 5-10 GT. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 5 jenis ikan yang dominan yaitu petek (Leiognathus sp), layur (Trichiurus sp), tigawaja (Scianidae sp), kuniran (Upeneus sp) dan swanggi (Priacanthus sp). Ikan petek mendominasi 29,5%. Pola pertumbuhan ikan rata-rata bersifat allometrik dengan nilai faktor kondisi berkisar 1.Nisbah kelamin rata-rata seimbang. Dari rata-rata panjang dan berat ikan demersal hasil tangkapan cantrang diketahui banyak ikan-ikan yang berukuran kecil ikut tertangkap. TKG ikan petek dominan pada tingkat III, ikan layur dan ikan tigawaja TKG IV, ikan kuniran dan swanggi pada TKG I. Fekunditas tertinggi terlihat pada ikan petek yakni sebesar 15.900 untuk jantan dan 12.700 butir. Hasil analisis Schaeffer menunjukkan bahwa MSY sebesar 854,07 ton dengan upaya tangkap optimum sebesar 831 unit cantrang. Tingkat pemanfaatan perikanan demersal cantrang sebesar 80, 47%. This study aims to asses the information concerning of cantrang and its catch yield as well as the utilization rate of cantrang demersal fish catch yield. The study was conducted in June-July 2013 using the survey method through catch yield observation and interviews to cantrang fisherman by descriptive analysis. Data analysis includes species composition, length weight, fish reproduction aspects (Gonade Maturity Levels, Fecundity and Sex Ratio). The utilization rate of cantrang demersal fisheries is calculated by using the Schaeffer method. The average mesh size of cantrang is 1,5 inches and 5-10 GT sized vessels. According to the results, five of the dominant fish species are petek (Leiognathus sp), layur (Trichiurus sp), tigawaja (Scianidae sp), kuniran (Upeneus sp) and swanggi (Priacanthus sp) which petek dominates 29,5 %. The average of fish growth patterns is allometric with 1 ranged condition factor values. Sex ratio is an average balanced. By the average length and weight of cantrang demersal fish catches yield known as many small fish caught. Gonade maturity level (GML) showed several results such as level III GML of petek, level IV GML of layur and tigawaja, and level I GML of kuniran and swanggi. Highest fecundity is as seen on petek which amounted to 15.900 of males and 12.700 of females. Schaeffer analysis results indicate that the MSYof 854,07 tons of optimum fishing effort of 831 cantrang units. The utilization rate of cantrang demersal fisheries by 80,47 %.
