Abstract

Popularity of facebook as a social networking sites with the largest number of users has attracted the attention of political actors to use it as a medium of political communication to obtain public support. The victory of Barack Obama and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at presidential election many associated with their skills using social networking sites effectively, coordinated and interactive with online communities. The Possibilities of Barack Obama and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono won the presidential election in online proved significantly positively correlated with offline voting. In the future, the role of the internet and social networking sites will become increasingly stronger with increasing number of internet users, ease of access and rapid development of information and communication technology.
