ANALISIS MODEL JUMLAH KEDATANGAN DAN WAKTU PELAYANAN PADA KASUS TPPRI RSUP Dr. KARIADI SEMARANG

Abstract

TPPRI (the place for registration of hospitalization patients) is the first phase that must be passed by the patients before they get treatment in care room. RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang provides three counters at the TPPRI for registration the patients of IGD (emergency installation) and registration of hospitalization patients. The arrival rate of patients at the TPPRI RSUP Dr. Kariadi is fluctuated at every certain intervals of time. It makes a difficult condition for hospital management to determine the policies in operating the number of service counters to reach the optimal service. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the queuing system model that is appropriately with the conditions and characteristics of the queue from service facilities by using the number of arrival time and service time that is taken for seven days at TPPRI. So it can help in determining the decision to achieve the effective and efficient service. From the analysis result, the best queuing model for TPPRI is (M/G/3):(GD/∞/∞).
