Pemikiran R.M.P. Sosrokartono dan Relevansinya bagi Pembentukan Karakter Bangsa Indonesia Menghadapi Era Globalisasi.

Abstract

This paper tries to give an answer about relevance of Sosrokartono's thinking for the national and character building in globalization era. Contemporary, the character of Indonesian peoples experiences erosion, is becaused of two matter. The first, as excess of the great wave of globalization. The second, as consequence of marginalization Pancasila's roles as based of state, way of life Indonesian peoples, and national ideology. Whereas Pancasila is the formulation of Indonesian people's character. If Pancasila values is defenced and developed, then it could insurance to achieve Indonesian peoples in peaceful and prosperous. While the Sosrokartono's thinking contains many local wisdom, which is compatible with Pancasila's doctrines. If all are actaualized and contextualized, then it would relevance for developes and reinforces Pancasila, as character of Indonesian peoples, in globalization era. keywords: local wisdom, relevance, national character, globalization era.
