The problem of the study is the selection of the proper implementation of the construction project with the hopes of not cause problems later on. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the contractual construction project and construction project based on community. While the purpose of this study was to 1) determine the factor an important factor in choosing the implementation of construction projects, 2) determine the weights of criteria and sub-criteria among a number of alternatives to the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), 3) selecting the implementation of construction projects by way of contractual or how to empower people with AHP. Primary data used are taken by interview and questionnaire were then processed by the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Analysis using AHP method is done by calculating eigen value vector and test consistency so know consistency ratio (CR) provided the value of CR is less than 0,1 or 10%. Analysis by the method of AHP done for all respondents of each criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives is the choice of the implantation of construction projects. From the analysis results obtained and validated results of the AHP analysis by interview of representative respondents. The conclusion from this study showed a range of criteria considered include time, cost, quality, community participation, and administration. With some sub-criteria that have been presented between these criteria and the alternatives that exist between contractual and empowerment. From the analysis of the existing criteria, the know weight of the selection criteria to be considered construction. With the results f the analysis are choosing contractual implementation of construction projects there are three criteria : the criteria of cost, quality criteria and administrative criteria. While choosing the project of construction of community there are 2 criteria : the criteria of time and participation criteria. Validation of the results of the analysis indicate that the implementation of the construction project is done by contractual.
