PERAN DAN FAKTOR PENDORONG MENJADI TENAGA KERJA WANITA (STUDI KASUS DI KABUPATEN DEMAK)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of female workers (TKW) in improving family economic security at Demak. Types of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The object of study is the mothers who had never worked as a labor of women workers (TKW) living abroad in Demak Regency, amounting to 4 people. The results of this study are as follows: goal mothers working to become migrant workers abroad is to improve the family economy, finance education and health needs. Mothers who work as maids want to get a salary or a wage higher than working in the country to give effect to the informant to work as maids abroad. The success of the female workers (TKW) were working abroad economically provide the impetus for TKW in Demak districts to emulate the success trail of others who have worked abroad where of working abroad are expected to be able to achieve socio-economic status higher. Labor Women (TKW) were working abroad is not all work and a fraction of them have problems either getting bad treatment from employers and experiencing legal problems because of a criminal act
