Abstract
Politeness is an important for communication. Minewhile in the text of consultation. How form of politeness in the text of consultation, discussed in this paper. This research data derived from the Java Post daily. Based on research results can find eight forms of politeness in the text of consultation: (1) speakers suggest an action, (2) speakers doesn’t threatening face, (3) speakers use the metaphor lexis, (4) speakers give an alternatives, (5) speakers entertain the participant, (6) speakers using eufemisme, (7) speakers give advice to participant, (8) speakers persuade the participant, and (8) speakers use a word of greeting the father and mother.
