Abstract

Several models have been constructecl to analyze ancl understancl tlrc factars that influence the acceptcurce af the use of computer technology sltch cts Theory of Reasoned Aetton (TRA), Theory of Plcutned Belmvior (TPB) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM| Anolher nrcclel developetl by Doll and Torkzadeh (1988) is'a ruodel of End User Computing Satisfttction (EUCS). This research is the stud.y on the TAM and EUCS model of the acceptance and user satisfaction af cotlxputer bused infurmation system (CBIS). Purpose of this study is trying to use ancl test tlrc tu'o nrcdels of acceptance technology, the TAM and EUCS models by examining their influence on the use and utiliz.ation of systents that will ultinwtely affect the level of user satisfoction (user satisfaction) as an indicator of the success of a system. Samples used in this study were obtrtitrcd frorn the sampling technique based on tlw criteria (purposive sampling)af a trading cornpany in Semarang, Central Java on the sub-sector (according to the incorporated trading comprury directory-BPS). Test of tlrc hypothesis is forntulated using regression nwdels. Three of the seven stated hypotlrcsis is rejected, while based an the results of the indirect analysis it can be concluded that the variable utility (usefulness), ease of use, accuracy and timelines in the use of a system also affects the user's satisfactiort.
