ANALISIS PENYEBAB KEGAGALAN PROSES CAPPER LINE II PADA DEPARTEMEN LIQUID MENGGUNAKAN ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS (RCA) (Studi Kasus di PT. Bina Guna Kimia Ungaran)

Abstract

Abstrak PT. Bina Guna Kimia adalah salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi produk pestisida dalam bentuk butiran(granular) dan tepung(pouder) serta cairan(liquid), di mana produk yang dihasilkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Seiring kemajuan ekonomi dan meningkatkan pembangunan di sektor pertanian dan perkebunan. PT. Bina Guna Kimia bertekat meningkat produktivitas dan pemenuhan kebutuhan industri pestisida dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, karena PT. Bina Guna Kimia adalah salah satu perusahaan industri pestisida di Indonesia yang dapat bersaing dengan produk-produk pestisida lainnya di tingkat internasional. Tingginya permintaan suatu produk atau demand dalam sebuah perusahaan tentunya merupakan keuntungan tersendiri bagi perusahaan tersebut. Hal ini membuat suatu perusahaan harus dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang tinggi. Tingginya kebutuhan konsumen ini mempengaruhi aktivitas di lantai produksi, dimana sebuah perusahaan harus dapat menekan jumlah produk cacat atau reject maupun rework agar profit/keuntungan dan sekaligus permintaan konsumen dari perusahaan tersebut dapat dimaksimalkan. Jumlah data produk yang reject atau gagal proses pada proses produksi di Departemen Liquid pada Bulan Desember 2011 sampai dengan Bulan Februari tahun 2012, kegagalan proses mencapai 17% dari total produksi setiap jenis produk yang di produksi, dan kegagalan tersebut terjadi pada proses capper line II yang menyebabkan rusaknya tutup, tutup merupakan satu bagian produk yang sangat penting bagi produk tersebut karena tanpa adanya tutup isi dalam kaleng atau wadah yang sudah di kemas akan tumpah.
