DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH MEANS INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MONITORING OF LICENSING AT SECTION OF HEALTH MEANS LICENSING AT HEALTH OFFICE OF SEMARANG CITY

Abstract

One of the important components in conducting health development is health means that can support many efforts of health services on individual and community level. All provisions of health means must have a license. License of health means provision is given by considering an equality and improvement of health services quality. Aim of licensing is to protect a community from malpractice in order to keep safety and health. Therefore, it needs to have health means license in accordance with requirements and to monitor implementation of it. Problem of licensing information system of health means is manually processing data and un-computerized data basis. Aim of research was to result health means information system for monitoring of licensing at Section of Health Means Licensing at Health Office of Semarang City. This was a qualitative research using development of FAST (Framework for the Application of System Techniques) method. Research design was Pre Experimental using one group pre and posttest design. Subjects were Head of Sub Department of Planning, Licensing and Information, and Staff of Management of Health Means Licensing. Data was analyzed by content analysis and descriptive analysis to calculate considered average toward examination of accessibility, completeness, and preciseness of time. New information system of health means results information that easy to access, more complete, and timely in giving information about health means licensing. Considered average of the old system is 1,81 and considered average of the new system is 3,5. Section of Health Means Licensing should use and implement new information system of health means licensing. Beside that, Health Center should be given feedback from licensing data that is available at Section of Health Means Licensing. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
