Kajian Pengelolaan Sub DAS Garang Hulu terhadap Kualitas Air Sungai

Abstract

ABSTRACT Garang Hulu sub watershed covers Semarang regency, Kendal regency and Semarang city. Various activities such as agriculture, industries, farms and settlements surrounding Garang watershed potentially pollute the river. Central Java Governor Regulation No. 156 in 2010 divide Garang Hulu watershed into three segments, ie. segment I to segment III which all were set for water classifications for class I. This study was conducted to determine implementation of environmental management Garang Hulu sub watershed affect river water quality. The qualities of river water are obtained from secondary data monitoring conducted by BLH Central Java Province and the primary data from results of water quality analysis conducted in April and June 2012, while information on the watershed management obtained from the relevant authorities. The results showed that the Garang watershed management have not been implemented properly marked with the Garang river water quality is not reach water grade targets, moreover the water classification.
