ABSTRACT The interaction of the oceans and the land will influence of stabilization of beach area, Semarang Sea directly adjacent the open seas could potentially occur due to abrasion because wave energy on the inland. This study aims to determine the magnitude of potential abrasion occurs and effectiveness of prevention using coastal structures. Identify areas of abrasion and erosion control effectiveness level modelling using software CEDAS 2.01 while spatial analysis using ArcGIS 9.3 software, as input data model derived from the analysis of wind data from BMKG Meteorological Station A. Yani Semarang, Tidal data from BMKG Maritime Station Tanjung Emas Semarang and survey field data on coastal morphology and sediment conditions at location study. From the modelling results obtained that if no protective measures are carried out at the Beach in 2015 at the location of research would have amounted to 116,307 m2 abrasion and increased in 2020 to 174,593 m2, whereas if it is done by building coastal protection interventions Groin abrasion in 2015 amounted to 3876 m2 and in 2020 a large abrasion is 7656 m2, whereas if the abrasion Seawall/Revetment built in 2015 amounted to 567 m2 and in a 2020 large abrasion is 1435 m2, effective in reducing erosion caused Seawall Seawall/Revetment l able to reflect wave energy on the coast so the beach remains protected material..
