Abstract
The patchouli plant ( Pogostemon Cablin Benth ) is one of the plants producing a volatile oil pretty important, known as the patchouly oil. Rendemen and quality patchouli oil needs to be improved by method distillation. Technology purification of sapphires as increasing levels patchouli alcohol on now is very advanced, one of them by means of distillation vacuum microwave. Distillation vacuum microwave is separation a mixture of two compounds or more based on boiling points differences and ease evaporation ( volatility ) by heating piledrivers through direct material polar and solvent and be set by two phenomena are conduction ionic and rotation dipole. Lab work on this used of materials patchouli oil as many as 500ml. Patchouli oil this purified to increase levels patchouli alcohol that is in oil sapphires. While an analyzer done among other: analysis of density, analysis viscosity, analysis figures acid, and analysis levels patchouli alcohol by using chromatography gas. Levels patchouli alcohol on dilstilat patchouli oil obtained most good, with time distillation 9 hours namely 30,4. The distillation 5,6,7, and eight hours didaptkan p.a. levels of 25,13 %; 26.71 %; 26,76 %; and 28,3 %.
