Abstract
Background: Parangtritis beach is one of the most favourite tourism destination. Easch year there was always been an increased in the number of tourists visiting Parangtritis beach. The increasing number of tourists was followed by increasing health risks considering that this tourism activity in temple area causing risks such as exhausting,drawn and acident. Because of that reason, travel medicine clinic is very helping to tourists who experienced all of the above risks. Methods: This study is an observational study with cross-sectional method. Selected location of this study is the Tourism Area of Parangtritis Beach Yogyakarata because the aim of this study is to know the relationship between education level and tourists attitude towards travel medicine clinic utilization. Samples are taken with consecutive sampling. The number of the samples were 100 respondents. Instrument of this study is valid questionnaires. Data tested with Chi-square analysis. Results: With statistical analysis it was earned that the tourists’ education level (p=0,00) and attitude (p=0,00) in foreign tourism and (p=0,02) in domestic tourism had a very significant relationship with travel medicine clinic utilization. Conclusion: Education level and tourist attitude had a significant relationship towards travel medicine clinic utilization. Keywords: education, attitude, travel medicine clinic utilization
