PERBANDINGAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN PADA PASIEN KELAS 1 DENGAN VIP DI PUSAT PELAYANAN JANTUNG DAN PEMBULUH DARAH RSUP DR KARIADI

Abstract

Background Hospital is a unit that has a regular organization, where prevention and cure of disease, health improvement and rehabilitation patients in a multidisciplinary done by various groups of skilled and educated professionals, used the infrastructure and physical facilities. Hospitalization room in Dr. Kariadi Hospital have some form class, they are third class, second class, first class and Very Important Person (VIP class. First class and VIP class services should be, in accordance with the Standard Minimum (SPM), same although with some different facilities. But the reality may be difference. Aim To know whether the health service given to the patient in the hospitalization room in the Heart Service Unit of Dr. Kariadi Hospital was same between VIP class and first class. Method This was an observational analytic study with cross-sectional study. The samples were obtained by taking respondents with consecutive sampling method until the end of the research (from May to July 2012). The gathered descriptive primary data were presented in the table form with images and diagrams. The data were analyzed using Fisher exact test. Results The interpretation data of each class were analyzed using Fisher exact test but the result was not significant (p=0.49). Conclusion There was no meaningful difference in the provided services between VIP class and first class in the Heart Service Unit of Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang.
