HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN DOKTER TENTANG REKAM MEDIS DENGAN KELENGKAPAN PENGISIAN DATA REKAM MEDIS DOKTER YANG BERTUGAS DI BANGSAL ANAK RSUP Dr. KARIADI SEMARANG PERIODE 1-31 AGUSTUS 2010

Abstract

Background: The hospital is one of health care facilities that are part of health resources are greatly needed in support of health efforts. The higher the socioeconomic level of knowledge and society, the higher the demands of those in the administration of quality health services. In the administration of health care throughout the health personnel including doctors, are required to document all complaints of patients both during treatment and after treatment. Documentation will be included in the medical records. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge about the medical records of general practitioners with the completeness of filling medical records. Methods: The research design was observational retrospective. Data obtained from medical records the period of 1-31 August 2010 and questionnaires completed by children resident who served in the pediatric ward C1L2 RSUP Dr. Kariadi. Components of the questionnaire also covers medical records, medical records benefits, components and content of medical records, and medical legal aspects. Results: In this research the results of bivariate analysis found a significant variable for understanding the medical records (p = 0,038), the benefits of medical records (p = 0,008), components and content of medical records (p = 0,011) and legal aspects of medical records (p = 0,002). While the knowledge variables found signifficant results is p = 0,000. Conclusion: There was significant relationship between knowledge possessed by the completeness of filling physician medical record data. Key words: knowledge of physicians, medical records
