Hubungan Terpaan Pemberitaan Poligami Ustadz dan Persepsi Individu Tentang Poligami dengan Citra Profesional Ustadz Sebagai Pendakwah

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the number of news circulating about polygamy usatdz. The rise of the media who proclaim marriage more than once by the cleric, where the cleric as a public figure known to the public through the preaching event that often appears on television. This problem becomes interesting because polygamy become sensitive, especially for women. Where the issue of polygamy still be the pros and cons in the community. This study aimed to determine the relationship of exposure intensity cleric preaching polygamy, and the individual's perception about polygamy with a professional image as a preacher preachers. The theory used to support this research is Cummulative Effect of Selective Influence Theory and Theory. This research is a type of quantitative research and types of research used is explanatory research that aims to explain causal relationships between variables were examined by testing the hypotheses that have been formulated. Sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling. The population in this study were women pilgrims Al Hussna study totaling 150 people to sample as many as 60 people. From the study it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the intensity of exposure preachers preaching polygamy (X1) with a professional image as an evangelist preachers (Y). It is based on the SPSS statistical calculations between X1 and Y for the sig 0.025 0.289 <0.05. In other words, X1 and Y there is a significant positive relationship. Also on the table SPSS statistical calculations between X2 and Y of 0.572 with a sig of 0.000 <0.01. In other words, between X2 and Y there is a significant positive relationship. In the study count between X1, X2 and Y based statistics using SPSS. Therefore obtained significance value of 0.043 and 0.000 <0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a positive relationship between an individual's perception about polygamy relationship with the professional image of the cleric as a preacher.
