Abstract

UNDERSTANDING THE TWITTER USER CYBER ETHIC Abstract Twitter not only allow the user to be openned and more flexible, but also make cunfusion and trouble. On that score, ethic is needed to manage users when they interact with others that make a benefit communication. But then, in the fact, users are confused how to make a benefit communication. The research have a purpose to understand the Twitter user ethic by described their behavior. The researcher used qualitative describtion and fenomenology method. While, fenomenology approach was used to understand the Twitter user conscious’s phenomenon when interact with others. The research use Computer Mediated Theory (CMC) and Communication Ethic Theory. The research’s outcomes found Twiiter as communication cyberspace, make possible the user to write down everythings identity that they want to make an image. Protecting personal and friend’s information prevent others to threat the user. Plagiarism is still to be the problem, appreciating of the other writing is important. Twitter’s restrictiveness to show the non verbal cues, information’s validity, and misunderstanding possibility are very high. The research is expected to give some implication on academic and practical aspect. Academic’s implication connect to contribute science about new media interaction whereas this research has no much study. Then, practical implication give some recommendation for Twitter user to understand the behavior rule so it will make a good communication.
