Abstract

Background : Administration of preload in section caesarian rarely completed with BGA analysis previously so could cause base – acid inbalance and worse metabolic and healing process. post operative pH examination are important. Because, fluid intervention during surgery influence to pH. Methods : this study is research with II stage experimental design (true – experimental pre test and post test design) that data collection is done by consecutive random sampling. Study sample consisted of 48 patients who were divided by 2 treatments group of section caesarian. Group I with 500 ml preload of HES 6% in a balanced solution and Group II with 500 ml preload of HES 6% in NaCl 0.9%. pH analysis by BGA test and data record for statistical calculations. Analysis of the data processed using SPSS for windows with a limit of significance p =0.05. Results : the difference between pre test and post test data in the paired t – test is normally distributed with p > 0.05. the post test results data between group I and group II had no differences in the independent t – test with p = 0.773. Conclusion : There is no decrease in pH in the HES 6% in NaCl 0.9% versus 6% HES in a balanced solution. 500 ml HES 6% in a balanced solution and 500 ml HES 6% in NaCl 0.9 can be used as a preload without significantly affecting the pH value.
