Abstract
Tahar BEN JELLOUN is a famous name in Francophone Literature. His presence is a blessing for the history of French Literature. His mother tongue is Arabic yet his use of French in his writings is also rich, beautiful and effective. That made him eligible for prestigious awards (Prix Goncourt and Prix Des Hemispheres) for his novels La Nuit Sacree and Les Yeux Baisses.
