Abstract

The role of entrepreneurs in creating production innovative processes and the courage to take risks in doing business has a key role in driving economic growth that could further enhance the society welfare. Schumpeter who developed theory of economic growth stated that enterpreneur has role in economic development through the creation of entrepreneurial innovation, employment, and welfare. More entrepreneurs who owned a country then the country will be more advanced and prosperous. An entrepreneur will always create new innovations to create new opportunities in creating a product and provides jobs. increasing the number of entrepreneurs need strategic step and policy. The government can provide education as well as training to prospective entrepreneurs and facilitate the opening of the regulation in the new venture. The method of this research is the literature study. This study aims to map the different experiences in different countries enterprenenur role in moving the economy and increasing prosperity. The result study shows the entrepreneurs can generate economic growth from because of capability of innovation and courage to implement innovation within the company and founded the company. Therefore, economic growth and improving people's welfare can be achieved by extending the entrepreneur.
