Abstract

Tujuan perancangan alat dehumidifier untuk mendapatkan udara kering yang menghasilkan RH 20% dengan menggunakan pendekatan thermodinamika dan psikometrik. Hasil kinerja air conditioning yang berupa udara kering yang diambil dari udara lembab sekitar digunakan untuk menentukan besarnya heater yaitu 2100 watt, dimana proses dehumidifier merupakan proses sensible heating yang dihasilkan oleh heater sehingga semakin banyaknya heater yang digunakan berpengaruh terhadap perubahan temperatur yang semakin naik dan RH menurun. Dari hasil percobaan didapat RH 11,8% dan temperatur 49,80C. Kata kunci: air conditioning, dehumidifier Tool design purposes dehumidifier to get the dry air that produces RH 20% using thermodynamics and psychometric approaces.
