ANALISIS PENGARUH CAPITAL ADEQUACY RATIO, NON PERFORMING LOAN, NET INTEREST MARGIN, BOPO DAN LOAN TO DEPOSIT RATIO TERHADAP RETURN ON ASSET (Studi pada Bank Umum go public di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2007 – 2010)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the variabels CAR, NPL, NIM, BOPO, and LDR on variable ROA on General Bank go public listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2007 – 2010 period. Research using purposive sampling method for taking samples. Data obtained on the basis of publication Annual Bank, obtained 14 samples of General Bank. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the statistical F indicates that model is fit because has a significance value less than 5% of Alpha value (α). Meanwhile, based on statistical t test showed that the CAR, LDR is positive and significant impact on ROA because it has a significance value more than 5% of Alpha value (α). Similarly, NPL is negative and signicant impact on ROA. Meanwhile, NIM is positive and significant impact on ROA because it has a significance value more than 5% of Alpha value (α). Similarly, BOPO is negative and significantimpact on ROA. Result of the analysis show that predictive ability of the five independent variabels CAR, NPL, NIM, BOPO, and LDR is 53,2% and it shown by adjusted R2 value, the rest 46,8% influenced by other variabels outside the model.
