Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job promotion, perception of fairness compensation, and the physical working environment for the creation of employee job satisfaction on PT. Suara Merdeka Press. The study used three independent variables namely job promotion, perception of fairness compensation, and the physical working environment, with one dependent variable is employee job satisfaction. In relation to employee job satisfaction, in this study focuses on the fact there is intense competition in the company to be promoted, the differences in incetives among employees with similat position and lack of employee involvement in designing layout and work environment. Conditions that exist in this company will be able to make employees not satisfied with their job. Because what they are expected of employees in accordance with the fact that they are feeling. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires and implemented the 88 employees of PT. Suara Merdeka Press as a research sample. Data analysis methods used are quantitative analyzes such as reliability and validity test, the classical assumption test, t test and F test, coefficient of determination as well as multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, showed that : promotion variables have significant and positive effect on employee job satisfaction, perceptions of fairness compensastion variables have positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, and have the greatest influence on employee job satisfaction. Yhe physical work environment variables have a possitive effect but not significant and have the smallest influence on employee job satisfaction.
