Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the CAMEL ratio and Size For the trouble bank that use financial ratio such as Capital Adequacy Ratio ( CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Return On Asset (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposite Ratio (LDR) dan Size. The data used from annual published financial statement of Commercial bank period 2006 – 2010. The population in this study are 96 commercial bank, after pass the purposive sampling there are 35 bank samples. The sample of research was devided in two categoriest bank with no problem are 30 bank, and 5 bank in trouble. Methode of analysis used to test the hypothesis of the research is logistic regression. The result of the research show that NPL is significant positive effect of the trouble bank prediction, ROA is significant negative effet of the trouble bank prediction, Variable CAR, NIM, LDR are not significant negative effect the trouble bank prediction. Variable BOPO and Size are not significant positive effect the trouble bank prediction. Variable can explain 82,9% and the remaining 17,1% can explain by the other variable.
