KOMPLEKSITAS TOGAS SEBAGAI MEDIASI HUBUNGAN ANTARA STRUKTUR DESENTRALISASI DAN KINERJA PEJABAT DENGAN PENDEKATAN PARTIAL LEAST SQUARE

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence is resulting from the variable of the decentralized structure on the work performance of the regional government official with the complexity of the task being the mediator variable and the influence of the decentralization structure directly on the work performance of the region! governmental officials in the Forestry, Agricultural and Husbandry Departments of the city of Ambon. The respondens comprised of officials echelon 11, Ill, and IV from the Forestry, Agricultural and Husbandry Departments of the city of Ambon. Purposive sampling is the technique used for sample taking in this research. Partial Least Square analysis was the method used for analyzing the data. The results of the analysis of this research show that the decentralized structure influences the complexity of the task, and the decentralized structure influences the work performance of the official through the task complexity variable as the mediator variable, and the policies of the regional government of the city of Ambon in relation to the joining together of various local government departments is the appropriate policy in the attempt to overcome the complex task.
