Pengujian Model Keberhasilan Pengembangan Sistem Informasi : Variabel Antiseden dan Konsekuensinya

Abstract

This study is to examine factors that influence a successful of management information system development. Some empirical evidences show that the success of information systems can be affected by variables: perceived benefit, user background, and organizational support. Moreover information systems success has consequences to the individual and organizational impacts. The object of this research is a management information systems development in an academic institution The population of the research is users of the management information systems who involved in the development process. Sample was defined by using a purposive sampling. The data collection method was a direct survey with questionaire. The data were analyzed using structure equation model, AMOS Software. A 5% significant degree was applied to accept the hypothesis. There were 150 respondents who participated in this research. The result confirmed that information system success is signrlicantty influenced by perceived benefit of the system development, user backgrounds, and organizational supports. furthermore, the information system suc¬cess influences we individual and organizational performances, and the individual performance influ¬ences the organizational performance. The discussion and limitation of the research are also stated. Keywords: Perceived benefit, information system success, individual performance, and organizational performance
