RETURN AWAL DAN FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHINYA

Abstract

This research intend to study and to analyze factors a ffectng inmal re:um of companies that have initial public offering (PO in Indonesia Stock Exchange (1SX) for 2002 - 2007. Those factors are size of company Earnings per Share, Return on Assets, degree of leverage, age of company ownership proportion of previous shareholder; auditor reputation, and underwriter reputation. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis. Samples are taken by purposive sampling method Research results show, there are 3 independent variables affecting Initial return significantly: size of company. Earnings per Share, and underwriter reputation. However, Return on Assets, degree of leverage, age of company, ownership proportion of previous shareholder and auditor reputation have no effect to initial return.
