Abstract

The Chinese Indonesia Christans are people who, from generations to generation, have been undergoing process of more and more becoming Christ-Like . So, many of them have lost their unique identities they got before imbracing this universal religion. any way that assumptions only partly true. As members of the body of Christ they remain different. And of course "Thank God" for that reality. This article is an attempt to describe that reality: searching for the influence of this society on the chuch they are the members of. The unique rites concerning with marrige, birth, funeral, and celebration of Chinese holidayshave proved that they are Chrristians but Chinese Indonesian as well. And of us believe that is a blessing.
