Abstract
Indonesia merupakan daerah beriklim tropis basah dari sisi geografis, dimana memiliki curah hujan rerata tahunan yang cukup tinggi. Sehingga potensi sumber daya air di Indonesia sebaiknya dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Di daerah Garut ini masih terdapat lahan yang memungkinkan dibangunnya waduk yang dapat difungsikan sebagai konservasi sumber daya air untuk PLTA guna memenuhi kebutuhan listrik masyarakat khususnya di pulau jawa. Terlebih lagi pada era modern ini, konsumsi akan kebutuhan energi listrik semakin meningkat. Lokasi waduk direncanakan berada di daerah Garut pada DAS Cikandang yang memiliki luas 204,5 m2. Tujuan penyusunan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk menghitung analisis Hidrologi pada DAS tersebut guna memperoleh debit banjir rancangan. Kemudian menghitung dimensi dan stabilitas konstruksi bendungan, spillway, serta bangunan pendukung PLTA. Tampungan waduk adalah sebesar 30 juta m3 yang diperoleh dari kurva waduk berdasarkan data peta topografi. Elevasi MAN adalah +392 dan MAB +395 (periode ulang Q100). Tinggi bendungan adalah 87,5 m dengan tipe bendungan urugan zonal inti tegak. Untuk perencanaan tunnel dan cofferdam, digunakan cara optimasi antara keduanya agar mendapatkan dimensi dan harga yang optimal. Pada perencanaan PLTA, digunakan pipa pesat berdiameter 1,2 m dimana akan mengalirkan debit sebesar 2,8 m3 yang dialirkan dari waduk ke turbin. Head netto diperoleh sebesar 95,68 m dari elevasi MAN ke turbin setelah dikurangi losses. Pemilihan jenis turbin berdasarkan dari grafik PT. ENTEC (Consultant and Engineering) yang menunjukkan hubungan antara debit, head netto, dan spesific speed. Dari data-data tersebut, dapat diperoleh turbin Francis yang akan menghasilkan daya sebesar 2,2 MW. TUGAS AKHIR Gamal Abdul Nasser (L2A 005 055) Perencanaan Waduk Garut untuk PLTA R.M. Eko Budiratmoko (L2A 005 094) di Kabupaten Garut ABSTRACT Indonesia is the wet tropical regions based on the geographic side, which has a mean annual rainfall is quite high. Resulting in potential water resources in Indonesia should be put to good use. In Garut area there are still land that allows the construction of reservoirs that can be enabled as the conservation of water resources for hydropower to meet the electricity needs of the community, especially on the island of Java. Moreover in this modern era, the consumption of electric energy demand is increasing. Reservoir locations are planned in the catchment area of Garut Cikandang which has an area of 204.5 m2. Final preparation of this goal is to compute the analysis of Hydrology at the river basin in order to obtain the design flood discharge. Then calculate the dimensions and stability of the dam construction, spillway, as well as supporting the building hydropower. Bin reservoir is 30 million m3 reservoir curve obtained from data based on topographic maps. Normal water level elevation is +392 and flood water level elevation is +395 (repeat-time period). Dam’s high is 87.5 m with a type of core zonal upright fill dam. For the planning of tunnel and cofferdam, used the way the optimization between the two in order to obtain the optimal dimensions and prices. In the planning of hydroelectric power, used rapid-diameter penstock will drain 1.2 m which the discharge rate of 2.8 m3 flowing from the reservoir to the turbine. Net head of 95.68 m is obtained from the elevation of normal water level to the turbine after deducting losses. Selection of type of turbine based on the chart of PT. ENTEC (Consultant and Engineering) which shows the relationship between discharge, head net, and the specific speed. From these data, can be obtained by Francis turbines that will generate power equal to 2,2 MW.
