Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk, menuntut penyediaan sarana dan prasarana transportasi yang cukup untuk mengimbangi kebutuhan masyarakat yang meningkat pula. Alasan dibangunnya jembatan Tangsi yang baru ini karena seringnya terjadinya kemacetan pada jembatan lama karena “umur rencana” jembatan sudah terlampaui, sehingga kapasitasnya tidak dapat mengimbangi peningkatan jumlah arus lalu-lintas dan kendaraan berat yang lewat, maka diperlukan jembatan dengan kelas dan dimensi yang sesuai, sehingga dapat memperlancar arus lalu lintas dan perekonomian masyarakat di Kabupaten Magelang dan Kabupaten Purworejo. Pemilihan lokasi jembatan terletak pada alinyemen horisontal lurus, karena jalan menurun dan terletak pada tipe alinyemen perbukitan, agar kecepatan rencana jalan dapat optimal. Abutment yang baru diletakkan dibelakang abutment yang lama, yang tadinya mempunyai bentang 45 m, sekarang menjadi 55 m. Tanah dasar yang cukup baik dan letak tanah keras 3 m dibawah permukaan dasar sungai, sehingga dipilih pondasi sumuran. Pemilihan tipe bangunan atas jembatan memakai rangka baja karena mempunyai bentang 55 m. Jika menggunakan girder beton bertulang atau prestress tanpa pilar maksimal berbentang 52 m. Jembatan ini juga tidak ekonomis jika menggunakan pilar ditengah, karena jarak muka jalan dan dasar sungai 8 m ditambah kedalaman penggerusan, maka pilar cukup tinggi, sehingga biaya tambah mahal pula. Abstrak Tugas Akhir Perencanaan Jembatan Tangsi Kabupaten Magelang iv ABSTRACT The growth of population requires transportation facilities which are sufficient to balance the necessity of the growing people. The reason to construct the new Tangsi bridge is the traffic jam along the old bridge, because the bridge’s planning old is over, therefore the capacity is not able to balance the increase of traffict current and heavy vehicles amount which pass, so need a bridge with an appropriate class and dimension to fasten current and people economical between Magelang municipality and Purworejo municipality. The selection of bridge location placed on straight horizontal alignment, because on down road and at hills alignment type, so it will optimum the fast of the way planning . The new abutment is located on the behind of the old one, therefore the bridge which at first has 45 meters length, now it has 55 meters. A good of land support power and hard land location 3 meters under a river, hence it is selected a foundation well. The type selection of the upper structure is stell construction because it with the length is 55 meters. If uses a construct of girder concrete or pre-stress without any pier maximum the length is 52 meters. the dimension is too high then the perform will be difficult technically, it needs a special construction and instruments and usually it will be expensive. It also doesn’t economic if it uses pier in the center, because the distance of the road and the bottom of river is 8 meters plus the scouring deep, therefore the dimension of pier is too high, enough hence the cost will be expensive too.
