Abstract
Modality is the speakers attitude towards the filler of the sentences subject since the new infromation at predicate or predicate-object if the predicate is filled with a transitive verb or predivate-object-adjunct if follow by adjunct and there is no pause between the predicate and the adjunct. obligation is one of the Indonesian modalities.
