Abstract

In Jakafia the anount of manpower was larger than the mtmber of opportunities for employtnent. This fact mde a serious unemployment problems.The purpose of research was analyzlng the influerce of GDP, wage and invectment on tlp dbsotption of manpower. There were 3 results of research First, GDP had a positive signi/icatre influence on absorption af manpower. Second, wage factor had a negative significant iryfluence on And third" irwestment had a negaive signifuatx influence on The tast retult was not according with theory, becawe the most oltwestors ln Jakarta more use capital-intewive than manpower-intensive. This study sugested the local governmenl to imprwe economic growth up, to surmount the disagreement ofwage between employee and employer, and to deep-select ta lhe next of big irwestors applicant who will plont their large capital in Jakarta
