ANALISIS SBKTOR POTENSIAL DAN PENGEMBANGAN WII,AYAH GUNA MEI\DORONG PEMBANGUNAN DI KABUPATEN REMBANG

Abstract

Economic development rate of Rembang regency was higher than other area around it, but PBRB of Rembang regency was low rated. This research relsted to Rembang regency condition during period of 2003-2007 which intent to identify strategic sectors in Rembang regency that further could be developed in order to increase PDRB of Rembang regency to support local economy development. Based on both analysk LQ and Shift Share result findings there were five potential basis sectors which could be developed in Rembang regency namely agriculture, mining and service sectors. These five factors are strategic to develop in order to increase PDRB achievement. Therefore they could play more roles in order to increase economical development rate. Based on Gravitation analysis, it was proven that Rembang regency has the strongest interaction with Pati regency. This case was not caused by the distance of both area only, but also caused by goods distribution, monq' and more people in Pati Regency.In order to increase economic development, basis sector development policy in Rembang regency shouldn't ignore non basis sectors. Therefore later aII economic sectors could give contribution to increasing both PDRB and local development.
