Abstract

Kebutuhan listrik di Desa Sadang, Kecamatan Jekulo, Kudus semakin meningkat sejalan dengan pertumbuhan penduduk dan pertumbuhan desa. Saat ini penyediaan listrik diselenggarakan oleh Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), akan tetapi untuk lebih membantu meningkatkan taraf hidup penduduk, dibutuhkan energi listrik alternatif. Untuk itu kami berupaya memanfaatkan potensi tenaga air dari saluran irigasi sekunder dengan membangun PLTMH. Sebagai pembangkit listrik, PLTMH ini selain digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari, juga dapat digunakan pada industri kecil. Berdasarkan analisa studi dan survei, PLTMH ini didesain dengan menggunakan turbin kayu tradisional yang mampu menghasilkan daya listrik 4 kW pada debit 135 liter / detik dan tinggi terjun 3 meter. ABSTRACT The needs of electricity in Sadang Village, Jekulo Regency, Kudus City have increasing in line with the growth of population and village development. Lately the standard water supply has carried out by Nation Electricity Company (PLN), however to increase the citizen’s quality of life, its need an alternative of the electricity’s energy. Therefore, we conducting efforts the water power’s potency by building micro hydro power’s station. As station of electricity, this micro hydro power’s station beside used to the daily needs, can also used to small industries. Based on the study and survey analysis, this micro hydro power’s station was designed with traditional wooden turbine which can produce 4 kilo Watt of electric power at 135 liter / second of water quantities input and 3 meters of head.
