The design and develop of entrance toll gate traffic monitoring simulation system using LCD and microcontroller AT89S51 has been done. This equipment detect the traffic condition on entrance toll gate and give information traffic condition of toll gate to the user . The design and develop of entrance toll gate traffic monitoring simulation system using LCD and microcontroller AT89S51 is consist of : the minimum system of microcontroller AT89S51, LDR sensoring, LED, comparator series and LCD. Six LDR censors is used to determine traffic condition of toll gate. All of that censors is used as microcontroller input and then it will process and the result form as a LCD view which is show the condition of that toll gate. This simulation can monitoring traffic condition of entrance toll gate and show the traffic condition to the user.The weakness of this simulation is can’t use in real application because LDR censor’s become active chemically after absorbing the radiance of light, so LDR censors can replace by PIR or RFID.
