Abstract

Rigid pavement has been widely used in Indonesia since 1985. Along with it, concrete technology has been developed rapidly. One of them is fiber concrete technology which is commonly purposed to increase the compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete. On site, there is a kind of fiber called SikaFibre. Therefore, analysis study on the effectiveness and efficiency of the fiber addition is needed. In this final task, the writer wants to analyze the influence of the polypropylene fiber addition related to the concrete strength and the cost of the rigid pavement structure. Keywords: rigid pavement, normal concrete, fiber concrete, tensile strength ABSTRAK Sejak tahun 1985 perkerasan kaku mulai dipergunakan secara lebih meluas di Indonesia. Seiring dengan hal tersebut, teknologi beton pun berkembang dengan cukup pesat. Salah satunya adalah teknologi beton serat yang pada umumnya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kuat tekan dan kuat tarik beton. Dalam kenyataan di lapangan, dijumpai adanya penggunaan serat polypropylene SikaFibre. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, diperlukan suatu studi analisis mengenai efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan serat polypropylene tersebut. Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis akan mencoba menganalisis pengaruh penambahan serat polypropylene SikaFibre pada rigid pavement berkaitan dengan kekuatan beton dan anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan.
