Abstract

This research would discuss about Popper's critical theory of scientific knowledge growth as packaged in his evolutionary epistemological system. The discussion was aimed al finding some philosophical foundations of Popper's critical rationalism on the growth of scientific knowledge, especially those which are related to methodological problems in the modem science epistemology In other words. it is to explain the new perspective of Popper's critical theory on the methodology of scientific knowledge growth. It is also to build who philosophical paradigm framework based on Popper's critical theory for the sake of current development of human thoughts, and find what that theory will contribute when it is implemented in Indonesia.
