Abstract
An ethical lift in Taoism is a life referred back to nature. Men must be able to interpret natural laws through ethical perspective and translate them into human living. This naturalistic Taoism ethics teaches that life must be equipped with virtue, which is to have a pure and sincere heart and a willingness to share life with others. The Tao law of virtue contains universal values so that it is important for Indonesian people experiencing the ebb of morality and the transitional era in political culture from a bureaucratic power to a democratic people sovereignty system.
