PENGARUH UPAH PER BULAN, UMUR, JENIS KELAMIN, DAN JUMLAH TANGGUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP CURAHAN JAM KERJA SEKTOR INFORMAL DI KABUPATEN TEGAL

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors which influence the hours of work for the labour with Tegal regency as the case study. The factors are including the wage per month, the age, the sex, and the total of family size. The data used is primary data (taken by interview) and secondary data by BPS. The sample is 100 labors in Kabupaten Tegal which have worked in informal sectors with the age of 20 until 64 years. The analysis used is description and Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result of analysis showed that the wage per month, age, sex, and family size influenced to the hours of work in Tegal regency, where the wage per month and family size influenced positively to the hours of work. The sex showed that there was no significant impact to the hours of work. The variable of age influenced negatively to the hours of work
