Abstract

The agriculture is the biggest sector in the field of economic in Indonesia, so that is big contribution to grow up the nasional economic. Agriculture is the one of the key to solve the problem of the poverty. One of the sub sectors that have contribution to Gross Domestic Regional Product in Central Java is plantation sub sector, which among plantations are water guava. The largest production centres of water guava in Central Java is Demak Regency, ironically, that the production, the farming area (total of the trees), and the average production that tends to fluctuate every year. This study aims to analyze the level of influence of factors production to total production of water guava in the District of Bonang, Regency of Demak. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Sampling was taken by simple random sampling method. Respondents in this research is water guava farmer in the District of Bonang consist of 100 people. Data analysis methods used in this study is multiple regression analysis by using Cobb-Douglass function for analyzing research data. Mathematic model by Cobb-Douglass function used the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Based on the data processing shows that the variables that significantly affect the water guava production are amount of fertilizer, pesticide, and distance between of the trees. while manpower variable has not significant influence to the water guava production.
