Abstract
We reported that we have succesful designed a design construction and realization of Multichannel that used AVR ATMega 8535 with RS-485 protokol and borland delphi 7 programming. This system is able to work under many measurement point. Meanwhile, each point has several input. In daily activities, this system can be applied for many purpose such as: temperature observating on industrial machines, electronic software monitoring temperature, early fire burning device, and the other application which mainly associated with measurements case that used several point temperature and object which have been measured on the same time in single communication computerized system. The Multichannel multipoint temperature monitoring system is utilize AVR ATMega8535 mikrocontroller as data akuitition equipment and data delivering into a computer serially. Meanwhile, IC LM35 is used as temperature sensor which have a sensivity value of 10 mV/bit. The output sensor is put into microcontroller ADC input at ADC0-ADC3 pin. The IC LM35 sensor data value which have been measured will be processed by AVR ATMega 8535 microcontroller. Afterwards, the data is being delivered by microcontroller to the computer which used RS-485 protokol serially. We obtained that the measurement from 2 terminal based on 4 temperature measurement point on the computer which can be programmed to display a temperature value in a grafik form. On the other hand, the device precision value is made as R=99,9% which has been achieved by normal tested using thermometer standard.
