Abstract

Purchasing dan supply merupakan bagian penting dari sebuah sistem manufaktur. Diperlukan strategi yang tepat dalam melakukan pembelian barang dan jasa perusahaan untuk menjaga sistem supply chain agar tetap memiliki nilai tambah (value added). Perusahaan harus menentukan strategi pembelian yang bersifat khusus untuk setiap item pengadaan. Strategi pembelian ini mengandung ide-ide yang jelas tentang isu-isu seperti berapa banyak segmen pasar pasokan untuk dibeli, berapa banyak pilihan supplier yang ada, tipe kerjasama apa yang mungkin dijalin dengan supplier untuk tiap item, tipe kontrak apa yang tepat untuk tiap hubungan kerjasam dengan supplier, dan tipe strategi operasional pengadaan apa yang tepat untuk tiap item pengadaan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi karakteristik setiap item pengadaan barang maupun jasa dalam bentuk pengumpulan data sekunder untuk kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam kuadran Kraljic Matrix. Posisi item pengadaan dalam kuadran Kraljic Matrix akan menentukan strategi pembelian yang tepat untuk setiap item pengadaan. Dari hasil studi kasus di Edytex Jaya Pekalongan, diidentifikasi terdapat 17 jenis item pengadaan. Dari hasil pengolahan data, didapatkan posisi 17 item pengadaan dalam krlajic matrix adalah sebagai berikut:sebanyak 11 item tergolong item non kritis, 5 item tergolong item bottleneck, dan 1 item tergolong item kritis. Purchasing and supply is an important part of a manufacturing system. Appropriate strategy is needed in making a purchase of goods and services companies to maintain supply chain system in order to remain the value-added. Companies must determine the purchasing strategy that is specific to each procurement items. Purchasing strategy contains clear ideas about issues such as how many segments of the supply market to buy, how many suppliers options available, what type of cooperation may braided with suppliers to each item, what type of contract is right for each relationship with suppliers, procurement and what type of operational strategies appropriate for each procurement item. This study identifies the characteristics of each item of goods or services in the form of secondary data collection then to be grouped into quadrants Kraljic Matrix. The position of the procurement item in the quadrant Kraljic Matrix will determine the appropriate purchasing strategy for each procurement item. From the results of case studies in Edytex Jaya Pekalongan, it has been identified there are 17 types of procurement items. From the results of data processing, obtained the positions in the procurement of 17 items krlajic matrix is as follows: as many as 11 items classified as non-critical items, five items belonging bottleneck items, and an item classified as critical items.
