Abstract

Economic growth is defined as an increasing ability of economy in producing goods and services (output) in particular place and time. Economic growth is one of the indicators of economic development. Economic growth and Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) of municipalites/cities in Central Java is relatively low, at below 5 persen. In order to enhance the output, it needs source of income and employment. Largest source of local revenue derived from Balanced Fund. Recent years has fluctuated. This fund and employment used as production factor to increase output to certain extent. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Balance Fund as (natural resources revenue sharing and tax revenue sharing, General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund) and employment to Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) of Central Java, 2007-2009. This research use regression analysis by Fixed Effect model. The use of dummy region in this study helps to observe variations of pattern in Central Java. The results obtained from data analysis show that natural resources revenue sharing and tax revenue sharing, General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund, employment has positive and significant impact on Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) in Central Java
