Abstract

Nowadays, The use of the wireless channel is become popular, although it has many limitations. In addition, the need for wireless data access in high speed is also encouraging the development of techniques that can improve system capacity and reliability of the channel. One technique is quite popular and can meet the above requirements are MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output). Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) technology utilizing OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), a wide channel can be divided into several narrow subchannel, each of which can be used to transmit data in parallel so that a channel can be used jointly by several user. In this final project will combine techniques of transmission between MIMO and OFDMA using MATLAB simulator. With FDMA subcarrier allocation of Block and Interleaved, transmission channels used are Rayligh and AWGN. OFDMA with MIMO systems integration is expected to give better performance, the goal became the rationale for combining the two systems are widely used. From the simulation BER value of the performance of the system using Block and Interleaved subcarrier allocation show value that are not much different. And the use of MIMO system make the system better BER value. Keywords: MIMO, OFDMA, ,QPSK, Block, Interleaved, Rayligh, AWGN
